KP PPPU Environment and Social Management System (ESMS) Guidelines

This course lays out the guidelines for implementation of Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS) in Public-Private Partnership projects in KP. It outline the criteria to assess the potential impacts of development projects, prescribes actions to mitigate these impacts and emphasises the importance of integrating environmental and social safeguards, not only as elements of compliance, but also as elements of value to the development projects and for their associated stakeholders.
